Chanel is the Managing Director at Resolve, responsible for leading the talented, passionate, and committed Resolve team.  

In her role as Managing Director, Chanel is not only responsible for setting the strategic direction of the firm, but also for nurturing a values-driven culture that puts the wellbeing of families at the centre of everything Resolve does.

Insightful, considered and financially astute, Chanel’s clients benefit from clear, strategic advice provided from the very outset. She focuses on quick, effective settlements that account for not only legal entitlements, but her clients’ real needs, including their best emotional and financial outcomes.

Chanel’s practice spans both financial and parenting matters, specifically the more complex issues that arise after separation. She is committed to open dialogue and supporting families to get around the table. She draws from the Resolve Network of Professionals often and has strong relationships with leading accountants, lawyers, mediators, valuers, tax experts, allied health workers such as psychologists, and other leading family lawyers in Adelaide and interstate.

A trained and experienced Collaborative lawyer, Collaborative practice is Chanel’s preferred form of dispute resolution. She has achieved exceptional outcomes for her clients through this approach, preserving strong co-parenting relationships and protecting children and families from unnecessary conflict.

Chanel is also an experienced litigator with significant familiarity in the family court system, including her early experience as a judge’s associate in the former Family Court of Australia. Where necessary and strategically advantageous for her clients, she confidently supports them through complex litigation to achieve a resolution.

Chanel holds a Master of Laws (Family Law) and is an Accredited Specialist in family law – representing the highest level of training for a family lawyer in Australia. She is Collaboratively trained, has studied internationally, and brings a depth of expertise in high-conflict resolution, communication, and negotiation. Chanel is also a Certified Divorce Coach, equipped with specialist skills to support clients through the emotional journey of separation.

As a recognised leader in the field, Chanel is regularly invited to speak at state conferences on family law issues, with a passion for educating emerging family lawyers on the importance of a holistic, client-focused approach. She continues to contribute thought leadership through articles and presentations in the family law space each year.
