Ashlee Wachtel is a Legal Team Manager and Senior Solicitor with deep expertise in complex family law. She is recognised for her intellectual rigour, strategic legal thinking, and sharp analytical mind, bringing clarity and leadership to every matter she leads.
Ashlee holds a Master of Applied Law (Family Law) from the College of Law, Australia’s nationally recognised specialist training body for family lawyers. She graduated with the Sandra Paul Memorial Prize for best-performing student, reflecting both her academic excellence and depth of legal understanding.
Ashlee works across all facets of family law, including complex parenting matters, property settlements, and high-conflict disputes. Her advice is grounded in a precise understanding of the law, strong technical skill, and an ability to think several steps ahead. In her role as Legal Team Manager, Ashlee provides leadership and mentorship to the legal team. Ashlee’s experience includes working as a Judge’s Associate in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, giving her valuable insight into judicial decision-making and court processes. This experience enhances her strategic approach to litigation, negotiation, and risk assessment.
Alongside her legal expertise, Ashlee is a Collaborative Practitioner, Conflict Resolution Expert, and Certified Divorce Coach.
